Breaking the Cycle

We provide job training and support that helps struggling parents

lift their children out of poverty.

The Grooming Project is now Pawsperity!

Don’t worry–our program and our mission for helping struggling parents find financial stability through pet grooming remains the same. In fact, that is exactly what our new name so perfectly reflects–prosperity through working with animals. The Grooming Project name will always remain special to us, but as we embark on a new and expanded location and look to the future, we are excited about the possibilities that Pawsperity holds. Our transition from The Grooming Project to Pawsperity will roll out gradually both online and in our new building over the next few months. Watch the short video below to learn more.

The 2022 edition of

GROOMING, LOVE, AND HOPE

is here!

We hope you’ll check it out today to hear from some of our brave graduates, generous donors, and Pawsperity staff who make our unique program possible.

The Expand Prosperity Campaign increased our impact in the community through the construction of a new grooming school, graduate salon, and doggie daycare. Not only will be be able to more than double the number of families we serve, but also we will bring much needed pet care services to the Troost corridor.
