What’s Happening at The Grooming Project

. Important Message: The Grooming Project School will be temporarily closed in response to COVID-19; however, we are still accepting online student applications for our program via the link above.

Acting with an abundance of caution to protect the health of our students, staff, clients, and visitors, The Grooming Project school on Troost made the decision to close to the public through May 15, 2020. Please note that starting Friday, April 24th our Lee’s Summit salon WILL be open for grooming. You can make an appointment by calling 816-525-2440.

During this closure, it is our goal to continue providing students with a weekly stipend of $125 even though we will lose $2,000 in grooming revenue every week the school is closed. The longer this closure remains in place, the more impactful it will be on our students, recent graduates, and our organization’s ability to respond. We need to build our emergency fund now to keep these families stable.

We are actively planning ways to adapt our grooming services to accommodate social distancing once we reopen. Additional information will be made available in the near future.

If you would like to schedule a grooming appointment for after May 15th, please call the school at 816-214-5376 and leave a message. We will return your call as soon as we are able.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

Please monitor our website and social media channels for any updates.
