What’s Happening at The Grooming Project

#GivingTuesday is almost here!

We hope you’ll think of The Grooming Project on Tuesday, December 3rd! On this global day of giving we will be raising funds for our food pantry, which supplies students with lunch, snacks, and often breakfast every day!

We're thrilled to be an Inclusion Open Grant Recipient!

The Grooming Project was recently awarded a $120,000 grant from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation’s Inclusion Open program. Learn more!

EPEC Chosen as 2019 Catalyst!

EPEC was recently selected by Stand Together, a social change organization dedicated to supporting and investing in nonprofits that tackle poverty in innovative ways, to participate in their 6 month Catalyst Program.

Lee's Summit Salon Grand Opening!

We’re expanding! Our first stand-alone grooming salon is now open in Lee’s Summit, MO! By taking your dog or cat in for a groom, you’ll be helping not only our graduate managers running The Salon, but also the students enrolled in our school! Learn more at The Salon website.

Empowering the Parent to Empower the Child (EPEC) is a 501c3 organization dedicated to reducing generational poverty in Kansas City.

Through our state-certified grooming school and our Lee's Summit grooming salon, we train struggling parents to be pet groomers and salon managers, both in-demand, living-wage trades.
